Next to this we will share the latest insights (or secrets) based on our SOC 2 benchmark research. We benchmarked 15 SOC 2 reports from large technology service providers which are based in Europe. Rob van der Gaarden (RE CISA) is a Director within the IT Assurance & Advisory department of KPMG with over 12 years of experience in the field of IT Attestation, SOC 1 and 2. Next to this Rob the head of IT Attestation in The Netherlands and the SOC 2 lead for the EMEA region of KPMG. He has experience with multiple SOC 2 engagements/ reports as an IT Auditor and has helped multiple companies transition to SOC 2 from an advisory perspective.
Yorick Verduin is a Manager within the IT Assurance & Advisory department of KPMG with over 5 years of experience in the field of IT Attestation, SOC 1 and 2. Also, Yorick is a KPMG (international) trainer on IT attestation and SOC 2. He has experience with multiple SOC 2 engagements/ reports as an IT Auditor.
