Peter is Deloitte’s Global Digital Law leader, based in Amsterdam. He has over 20 years experience in IP/IT and Data protection/Data privacy matters in Financial Services as well as TMT Industry. Peter is also specialized in supporting national and international companies with a large number of legal and regulatory matters.
Peter is appointed as a member of the European Commission Expert Group on Cloud Contacting and an expert member of the European Commission Working Group on data ownership (part of Digital Single Market initiative).
Peter has been advising many Dutch and international clients (profit and nonprofit, such as Ministries) in several industries, among others in the FSI, with commercial contracting, IP, IT and Legal & Regulatory aspects of digitization (e.g. cloud, robotics & AI, blockchain, B2B2C platforms, ecosystems, etc.).

Deloitte is supporting a global TMT investment company in the design and implementation of their global Compliance Program. Due to the significant growth, there was a need to enhance and standardize its existing compliance efforts. The project covered more than 15 jurisdictions worldwide.
