The digital landscape is changing rapidly and so are the regulatory frameworks that govern it. The European Union is quickly adopting new regulations for digital services, one such regulation being the Digital Services Act (DSA). This Act has significant implications for online platforms, users, and IT auditors alike. In this session, we will explore what the DSA is, introduce other upcoming digital regulations and share why they are so important. Moreover, we will have a discussion on the challenges encountered in the DSA audits, with a specific focus on the audit of AI systems. With the aim to safeguard the reliability, fairness, and accountability of these algorithms, we offer tips and tricks to ensure the ethical use of AI.
