ISACA Global provides internationally recognized training and certifications in the field of IT governance, risk and security management. To allow members to optimally prepare for the certification exams, ISACA NL Chapter organizes training courses. The association thus provides its members the tools to grow as a professional optimally and increase career opportunities.
Frequently Asked Questions about Training and Certification
Training
When will I receive my CPE-points for a training?
You will receive a Certificate with the number of CPE-points earned after the training has been fully completed, based on your attendance.
Can I organize in-company training for my team?
Yes, ISACA Netherlands provides in-company training together with Security Academy. You can request an offer via training@isaca.nl.
Can I follow a workshop or ISO training through my company’s learning platform?
No, ISACA Netherlands only offers ISACA certification training through the Bloomville and Learningville platforms.
When will I receive the Zoom or Teams link for the training?
The training provider will send the link a few days before the start of the online training. Please check your inbox and spam folder for messages about the training.
I have not received a Zoom or Teams link or any other training information. What should I do?

Exams
How can I schedule an exam?
You can only register and schedule for an ISACA exam through org. The ISACA Netherlands Chapter only organizes certification training but cannot book exams for you.
What is the pass rate for each exam?
ISACA.org does not provide pass rates for the different certification exams. ISACA Netherlands Chapter therefore cannot provide this information.
Can I request formal verification of my CISM exam score?
No, ISACA Netherlands has no access to exam results or exam scores. Only ISACA Global can provide this information. Please visit org and submit your question through Support.
How can I find test centers in the Netherlands for an ISACA certification exam?
You can find available test centers while registering and scheduling your exam via org. ISACA Netherlands only provides training and does not handle exam registration, scheduling or test-center information.
Can ISACA Netherlands help me reschedule my exam?
No, ISACA Netherlands only provides training. For all exam related support, please refer to org.
Can I extend the validity of my exam voucher?
No, exam vouchers have a fixed validity date. If you are unsure when you plan to take an exam, it is better to pay for the exam directly at org during exam registration and scheduling once you know when you want to sit for the exam.

How do I know if I qualify for a certification?
How long is my certification valid, and what are the costs for recertification?
ISACA Netherlands only provides certification training. Information about certification validity, renewal requirements and related costs is available on org. If you cannot find the answer there, please contact ISACA Support.
How can I obtain a certification?
If you have passed an exam for one of the ISACA certifications, you can apply for certification. You can do this via org by following the steps listed under the relevant certification. ISACA Netherlands is not involved in this process.
Can ISACA Netherlands inform me about the CPE requirements for a certification?
No, please refer to org for the CPE requirements that apply to your certification.
Learning materials and vouchers
Is it possible to purchase an exam voucher or book (learning material) without booking a training?
No, ISACA Netherlands Chapter does not sell learning materials or exam vouchers separately. You can buy these at org or purchase them directly from another reseller or training organization.
Can I purchase an exam voucher or ISACA review manual through my company’s learning platform?
No, ISACA Netherlands only offers training through the Bloomville and Learningville platforms. Learning materials and exam vouchers can be purchased separately via org.
When will I receive the physical review manual I ordered?
Orders for learning materials and exam vouchers are processed in bulk per training through our partner, DNV Security Academy. Exam vouchers and the online Q&A database will be made available in your ISACA account before the training. The physical review manual will be sent by post. Please note that delivery may be delayed because we depend on org for the availability of new review-manual versions and on PostNL for postal delivery.
Can I receive my physical review manual and access to the Q&A database earlier?
No, we order learning materials in bulk per training. Please also note that the Q&A database is valid for six months from the moment it becomes available in your ISACA account. If access starts too early, it may expire before you need it to practise for the exam after the training.

Discount on Security Academy course portfolio – how does it work?
Security Academy offers a broad portfolio of security-related courses (+50 different course titles). These Security Academy courses take place during the day. This allows you to choose a training that best fits your agenda. Security Academy also provides in-company training.
ISACA NL Chapter members receive a 10% discount on the total course portfolio of the Security Academy. When registering for a course of your choice at the Security Academy, enter a code on the digital registration form. This code consists of the letters ISA followed by your ISACA NL Chapter membership number. The 10% discount will then be automatically applied to the Security Academy’s invoice. This discount does not apply in combination with any other discounts granted.
