AAIA is designed for IT Audit professionals with a CISA, CIA (IIA) or CPA (AICPA) certification looking to gain recognition for their expertise, assuring AI-driven processes comply to the highest industry standards.
To qualify for AAIA, candidates must either hold a CISA certification or one of the following designations with an IT audit or IT advisory role focus: CIA, US CPA, ACCA or FCCA, Canadian CPA, Australian CPA or FCPA or the Japanese CPA designation.

All holders qualify:
- CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor from ISACA)
Holders with an IT audit or IT advisory role focus:
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor from the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA))
- US CPA (Certified Public Accountant from one of the US state boards of accountancy)
- ACCA (Chartered Certified Accountant from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA))
- FCCA (Fellow Chartered Certified Accountant from ACCA)
- Canadian CPA (Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant from one of the Canadian provincial or regional accounting bodies)
- Australian CPA (Certified Practicing Accountant from CPA Australia)
- Australian FCPA (Fellow Certified Practicing Accountant from CPA Australia)
- Japanese CPA (Certified Public Accountant from the Japanese Financial Services Agency (FSA) and Japanese Institute of Certified Public Accountants (JICPA))

Learning materials
Candidates must purchase the official learning materials separately. Options include:
- Order through ISACA Netherlands Chapter (€536,-) in collaboration with Security Academy at least 10 working days prior to the start of the training. The learning materials include:
- The official ISACA® Review Manual (physical book).
- A 12-month online subscription to the official ISACA® Review Questions, Answers & Explanations Database.
- Order directly via ISACA Global at www.isaca.org. Please allow sufficient time for delivery and consider potential import duties and payment methods (credit card).
Optional add-ons
You may also choose to include an exam voucher (€620,-) with your order. These additional costs will be included on your invoice along with the training course fee. You can also purchase the exam voucher via Security Academy directly:
AAIA Training
The ISACA Netherlands Chapter offers training courses throughout the year to help you prepare for your AAIA certification exam.
Registration
You can register 2 working days before the start of an online training and 5 working days before a physical, in class, training starts. This due to catering arrangements.
Please note that learning materials can only be ordered via ISACA Global if the registration is later than 10 working days before the training.
