To qualify for AAIR, candidates must hold one of the qualifying certifications.

- CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)
- CISA® (Certified Information Systems Auditor®)
- CISM® (Certified Information Security Manager®)
- CRISC® (Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control®)
- CGEIT® (Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT®)
- CDPSE® (Certified Data Privacy Solutions Engineer®)
Holders with the following certifications are also accepted:
- CRMP (Certified Risk Management Professional – RIMS)
- CRMP-FED (RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional-Association for Federal Enterprise Risk Management (AFERM))
- CRMA (Certification in Risk Management Assurance – IIA)
- CERP (Certified Enterprise Risk Professional – American Bankers Association)
- CRCM (Certified Regulatory Compliance Manager – American Bankers Association)
- CGRC (Governance, Risk and Compliance Certification – ISC2)
- CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional – ISC2)
- CIA (Certified Internal Auditor – Institute of Internal Auditors)

Learning materials
Candidates must purchase the official learning materials separately. Options include:
- Order through ISACA Netherlands Chapter (€570,-) in collaboration with Security Academy at least 10 working days prior to the start of the training. The learning materials include:
- The official ISACA® Review Manual (physical book).
- A 12-month online subscription to the official ISACA® Review Questions, Answers & Explanations Database.
- Order directly via ISACA Global at www.isaca.org. Please allow sufficient time for delivery and consider potential import duties and payment methods (credit card).
Optional add-ons
You may also choose to include an exam voucher (€630,-) with your order. These additional costs will be included on your invoice along with the training course fee. You can also purchase the exam voucher via Security Academy directly:

The ISACA Netherlands Chapter offers training courses throughout the year to help you prepare for your AAIR certification exam.
Registration
You can register 2 working days before the start of the online training.
Please note that learning materials can only be ordered via ISACA Global if the registration is later than 10 working days before the training.
