Building AI Audit Agents Together

ISACA Netherlands proudly supports the SAAF Project (Shared Audit Agents Framework), an initiative that brings internal auditors together to collaboratively develop AI-powered audit automation solutions.

What is the SAAF Project?

The Shared Audit Agents Framework (SAAF) is a collaborative initiative where audit professionals work together to explore how artificial intelligence can support and automate audit processes.

Many auditors are currently experimenting with AI tools, but often lack a structured way to understand how these technologies can be applied safely, reliably, and in line with regulations such as the EU AI Act.

SAAF addresses this challenge through a hands-on “learning by building” approach. During a series of hackathons, participants collaboratively design and build AI audit agents, gaining practical knowledge that can be directly applied within their own organizations.
