ISACA NL Chapter specifically organises training courses to prepare for the CGEIT exam. During ISACA’s CGEIT training, the five CGEIT domains are covered in detail and exam questions are practised. This makes it immediately clear which components you have mastered sufficiently and where there is still room for improvement.
The CGEIT exam is in English.
CGEIT certifies people with general knowledge in the field of implementing and maintaining governance in ICT, at large organisations. It is the only certification of its kind. Within the certification, five domains are examined:
- Framework for the Governance of Enterprise IT (25%)
- Strategic Management (20%)
- Benefits Realisation (16%)
- Risk Optimization (24%)
- Resource Optimization (15%)
A minimum score must be achieved within each domain to pass.
CGEIT training from ISACA
The training is delivered by a highly experienced instructor. In the CGEIT training from ISACA, all major components of the CGEIT are covered. The main emphasis is on practising exam questions (interpreting and reasoning out the correct answer). The aim of this training is to master the concepts as they are used during the exam. References to the supporting course material will also help you on your way. You may need to brush up on some parts.
