ISACA Netherlands Chapter is renowned for organizing top-tier global events aimed at disseminating knowledge in the field of IT and Cyber Security and fostering collaboration among IT and Security experts. Our community brings together leaders, decision-makers, and technologists from various sectors, including startups, SMBs, and Enterprises. Attendees include CSOs, CISOs, CTOs, CIOs, DSOs, security architects, developers, network administrators, application administrators, MIS directors, government defense chiefs and integrators.
Last year we held the first Cyber Booked Event together with the local Dutch Security Chapters of OWASP, ISACA and ISC2 as well as the Secure Software Alliance (SSA). This unique event offers an opportunity to become familiar with Cyber security books, learn from the authors and meet & greet with these authors who have been known to contribute to the security industry for decades.
This year ISACA Netherlands Chapter has planned the Cyber Booked 2025 Event on the 19th of March 2025 in Utrecht at the Hotel van der Valk from 17 – 22pm. We will open the event with a light dinner (sandwiches) and start with the presentations at 18pm).
We have planned to showcase recent books (authors). These authors have already been confirmed:
- Brenno de Winter, “De Validatiecrisis”
- Geert Baudewijns, “Onderhandelen in het duister”
- Ramses Sloeserwij, “Code Rood”
- Mark Butterhof, “Digital Security Leadership”
- Ali Abdollahi, “A Beginner’s Guide to Web Application Penetration Testing”
Each author will have 30 minutes in which to present their book, thoughts & opinions and contribution. After the presentations, there is room for a meet & greet and drinks.
The Event will be promoted through several channels via our Newsletter to members, with other Chapters (e.g. ISACA Belgium, OWASP Netherlands and ISC2 Netherlands) and via LinkedIn.
The organizing committee consists of:
Dwayne Valkenburg, President ISACA Netherlands
Mirjam Moerkamp, Board member Training/SheLeadsTech ISACA Netherlands
