Mirjam Moerkamp

My name is Mirjam Moerkamp, and I work as an IT (and Operational) Risk Manager for a large Insurance company. I have an extensive background in IT working as a line manager, delivery c.q. project manager, Business Security Officer and IT Risk Manager. I have been a member of ISACA since 2019 when I obtained by CISM certification. In 2023 I became an active volunteer, helping with the ISACA Risk Event.  Since then, I help organize the Round Tables in Eindhoven, am still active in the Risk Event committee and am a member of the Board, responsible for Training and SheLeadsTech.

I am an advocate for lifelong learning and want to create valuable learning opportunities for our members. Whenever possible, I work with partners like Security Academy as well as with other ISACA Chapters or similar associations, such as OWASP and ISC2, to offer affordable, relevant and high-quality training and events.

I try to keep up with the fast-paced developments within IT, Risk & Security (Cybersecurity) and try to follow at least one training each year. This year I achieved my CGEIT certification and followed the CCAK training that I organized together with the ISACA London Chapter.
