Caroline began her career as an attorney for the well-known law firm, Gunderson Dettmer, where she focused on representing startup technology companies. After nearly a decade at the law firm, Caroline embarked on her in-house career, serving as General Counsel to Sailthru (acquired by Campaign Monitor) and then General Counsel and VP of Business Affairs to Clarifai, an A.I. computer vision company. Because of these in-house roles, Caroline has spent the last decade focusing on data privacy and cybersecurity, resulting in her building a company that is focused on bridging the gap between these two inter-related departments and break down the silos.
