Modern trains, like the InterCity New Generation (ICNG) NS is introducing, are getting increasingly complex, with a lot of IT on board and tight couplings to systems on the shore. However, more IT means more opportunities for hacking. In train maintenance, cyber security therefore is becoming an area of high interest. In this Square Table, Meinte Wildschut, project manager IT and cyber security, will share real-life experiences and practical insights on the role of cyber security in train digitalisation.
Speaker: Meinte Wildschut
Change driven, that’s Meinte’s approach to project management. A project is a tool to support change, its deliverables create new opportunities for organisations. With his consultancy experience, Meinte can deal with the full project lifecycle: from the very first idea – “So, what if we ….” – till project start; manage the project itself; and support the standing organisation to realise the benefits enabled by the project deliverables. His favourite position is where business meets IT. Areas of interest are risk management and cyber security.
